Journal History

To improve accessibility and enhance the publication system, the FIKROTUNA Journal has implemented the following important updates:

  1. Migration to a New Website (Effective January 2025)
    The FIKROTUNA Journal has officially moved to a new web address: https://jurnalalkhairat.org/ojs/index.php/fikrotuna. The previous link is no longer active. During this migration process, the editorial team is re-uploading the entire publication archive, starting from the earliest issues, to ensure data integrity and accessibility through a more stable and modern platform.
  2. New Manuscript Submission Policy (Effective December 2024)
    Starting with Vol. 14 No. 2 (2024), all manuscripts must include “Lead Author” and “Copyright” information, in accordance with the official circular issued by LP2M IAI Al-Khairat Pamekasan. This policy aims to enhance transparency, compliance with regulations, and copyright protection for all contributing authors.
  3. Change in Publication Frequency (Effective Starting in 2026)
    Starting with Volume 15, Issue 1 (2026), the FIKROTUNA Journal will be published four times a year in March, June, September, and December based on the Request for Change in Publication Frequency No. A/076.749/JF/X/2025. This change is intended to increase publication frequency, expand opportunities for authors, and accelerate the dissemination of research findings in the field of Islamic studies and related fields.
  4. Manuscript Template Changes (Effective Starting with Volume 15 No. 2, June 2026)
    Starting with Volume 15, No. 2, published in June 2026, the FIKROTUNA Journal will implement changes to the manuscript template. All authors are required to use the latest template when preparing and submitting articles. These changes are intended to improve the consistency of article formatting and layout quality, as well as align the journal’s publication standards with the need for more professional manuscript management.

Through this update, the FIKROTUNA Journal remains committed to continuous improvement as a credible, ethical, and globally competitive academic journal.
