Focus and Scope

FIKROTUNA: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Manajemen Islam publishes scientific papers discussing theory, practice, and research results in formal, non-formal, and community-based education. The journal is open to academics, practitioners, educators, and researchers interested in developing educational systems and processes in various contexts. Scope:
1. Formal Education (Learning innovations in schools, boarding schools, and universities, Curriculum development and assessment, Technology in learning, Education management and school policy, Teacher education and professional development.
2. Non-formal Education (Equivalency education (Packages A, B, C), Skills training and courses, Out-of-school education for youth and adults, and Training-based community empowerment programs
3. Community-based Education (Education based on local culture and traditional wisdom, Family, community, and house of worship education, Community literacy (digital, financial, social), and Lifelong learning and learning community movement.
4. Education Studies in a Multidisciplinary Perspective
Discusses the integration and contribution of education science in other disciplines such as tafsir studies, Islamic economics, sociology, anthropology, and other social-humanities sciences. It focuses on an interdisciplinary approach to explaining educational phenomena through analyzing concepts, curriculum, and academic practices within an interdisciplinary scientific framework.
