This study examines the phenomenon of Post Infidelity Stress Disorder (PISD) as a psychological disorder resulting from infidelity, which impacts individuals, family resilience, and broader social stability within the context of Muslim society. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Ultimate Freedom Mastery (UFM) method based on Qur’anic Psychology as an integrative approach combining psychological and spiritual dimensions. This research employs a mixed methods approach with a Sequential Exploratory design, consisting of a qualitative phase through thematic interpretation (tafsir maudhu‘i) of Qur’anic verses related to trauma and tazkiyah al-nafs, followed by a quantitative phase using a quasi-experimental One Group Time Series design. The findings indicate that the Qur’an possesses a strong therapeutic dimension, while the UFM method is effective in reducing stress levels and PISD symptoms through the stages of First Memory, First Belief, and Rewinding-Breathing Technique. Quantitative results also reveal significant differences between pre-test and post-test scores, with high levels of statistical significance and large effect sizes, demonstrating the empirical strength of the intervention. Thus, this method is not only statistically effective but also holds practical and contextual relevance as an applicable Islamic therapeutic model for addressing contemporary psychological challenges.
