PERBANDINGAN KINERJA KEUANGAN ANTARA BANK SYARIAH DAN BANK KONVENSIONAL DALAM MENANGGAPI KETIDAKPASTIAN EKONOMI GLOBAL: PENDEKATAN MELALUI ANALISIS RASIO KEUANGAN DAN STABILITAS SISTEMIK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kinerja keuangan antara bank syariah dan bank konvensional dalam merespons ketidakpastian ekonomi global, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui analisis rasio keuangan dan indikator stabilitas sistemik. Data sekunder dikumpulkan dari laporan keuangan publik bank syariah dan konvensional periode 2018–2023, serta data makroekonomi terkait indeks ketidakpastian kebijakan ekonomi global (GEPUI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bank konvensional memiliki tingkat profitabilitas yang lebih tinggi, ditunjukkan oleh rasio ROA dan ROE yang lebih stabil. Namun, bank syariah menunjukkan tingkat stabilitas sistemik yang lebih unggul, tercermin dari nilai Z-score yang lebih tinggi, yang mengindikasikan ketahanan terhadap gejolak ekonomi. Selain itu, bank syariah juga menghadapi tingkat pembiayaan bermasalah (NPF) yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan bank konvensional (NPL), terutama akibat orientasi pembiayaan ke sektor riil dan UMKM. Meskipun kedua jenis bank terdampak negatif oleh ketidakpastian ekonomi global, respons strategi yang diambil berbeda: bank konvensional cenderung berorientasi pada efisiensi dan pasar, sementara bank syariah mengedepankan stabilitas dan nilai kemitraan. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pembuat kebijakan dan pelaku industri keuangan dalam merancang sistem perbankan yang lebih resilien dan inklusif di tengah dinamika global yang tidak menentu.
