Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong transformasi signifikan dalam industri perbankan, termasuk perbankan syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam sistem pembiayaan pada Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) melalui pendekatan Kuliah Observasi Lapangan (KOL). Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan pegawai, dan telaah dokumen internal serta literatur terkait digitalisasi perbankan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI mulai diterapkan dalam berbagai aspek pembiayaan, terutama melalui automated credit scoring, deteksi dini risiko pembiayaan (early warning system), dan layanan chatbot berbasis Natural Language Processing (NLP). Implementasi AI terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mempercepat proses analisis, serta memperkuat manajemen risiko pembiayaan. Dari perspektif maqashid syariah, penerapan AI mendukung perlindungan harta (hifzh al-maal), peningkatan kualitas keputusan (hifzh al-‘aql), dan kemaslahatan nasabah. Namun demikian, tantangan muncul terkait integrasi data, kesiapan SDM, transparansi algoritma, keamanan data, dan kepatuhan syariah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi AI berpotensi menjadi fondasi transformasi digital perbankan syariah yang lebih inklusif, aman, dan kompetitif apabila didukung penguatan regulasi, pelatihan SDM, dan penerapan explainable AI yang sejalan dengan prinsip syariah.
