IDENTIFIKASI PERAN KONSELOR SEKOLAH DALAM LAYANAN KESEHATAN MENTAL BERBASIS SEKOLAH

Kesehatan mental merupakan kondisi sehat dan sejahtera, yang memungkinkan individu untuk berinteraksi secara positif dengan orang lain, dan mengatasi perubahan hidup. Kesehatan mental bukan hanya tidak memiliki penyakit mental atau gangguan psikologis, melainkan juga kemampuan untuk beradaptasi dan berfungsi secara baik. Banyak siswa di berbagai negara seperti di Amerika Serikat maupun Indonesia yang membutuhkan layanan kesehatan mental nyatanya belum terlayani, sehingga berdampak pada masalah dalam perkembangan emosi, sosial maupun akademiknya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi peran konselor dalam memberikan layanan kesehatan mental berbasis sekolah. Metode penelitian adalah studi literature dari berbagai kajian artikel jurnal bereputasi dan ebook yang relevan. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa keterlibatan konselor sekolah dalam memberikan dukungan dan layanan kesehatan mental rendah, karena keterbatasan sumber daya di sekolah, dan bervariasinya tanggung jawab konselor sekolah. Implementasi program perlunya akses secara langsung dengan sekolah dengan mengintegrasikan pendidikan kesehatan mental ke dalam kurikulum sekolah.
