Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran lembaga ekonomi syariah dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat dan pembangunan ekonomi lokal di Kabupaten Sumenep. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi terhadap pengelola lembaga ekonomi syariah, pelaku UMKM, tokoh agama, dan masyarakat penerima manfaat yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive dan snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembaga ekonomi syariah berperan dalam meningkatkan akses permodalan usaha, memperkuat kapasitas ekonomi masyarakat, serta membangun solidaritas sosial berbasis nilai religius dan budaya lokal. Namun, terdapat kendala berupa rendahnya literasi ekonomi syariah dan keterbatasan modal lembaga. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan kajian ekonomi syariah berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat serta menjadi rujukan dalam penguatan kebijakan pembangunan ekonomi lokal yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.
